On August 8-10, the 10th China Translational Medicine Conference and China Precision Medicine Conference were held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The conference is guided by the Planning and Policy Bureau of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, and hosted by the Translational Medicine Branch of the China Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Association.
President of Taimeibaofa Cancer Hospital and foreign academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Yu Baofa was invited to attend the meeting and gave a keynote speech, sharing the breakthrough progress and application potential of nano induced tumor vaccine treatment in the field of tumor treatment, especially in the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
As a highly malignant digestive system tumor, pancreatic cancer is known as the "king of cancer", which seriously threatens people's life and health. Academician Yu Baofa has focused on the innovation and practice of tumor treatment technology for many years, and the "slow release library therapy" he invented has been included in the Clinical Operation Guide for Interventional Treatment of Advanced pancreatic cancer.
Academician Baofa Yu announced that in order to improve the accessibility and standardization of disease treatment for pancreatic cancer patients in China, reduce the economic burden of patients and families, and improve the efficiency of treatment, the Scientific Anti Cancer Promotion Working Committee of China Life Care Association launched the "Pancreatic Road Peer - pancreatic cancer Free Treatment Assistance Project". The project is undertaken by Taimeibaofa Cancer Hospital, a member unit of China Life Care Association. It will give full play to its own medical technology advantages and professional team strength to provide free treatment for eligible pancreatic cancer patients to help them alleviate their pain and prolong their lives.
